About the Role
An Assistant Teacher position at Kiddie Time is a perfect way to gain hands-on experience working with families and children while learning Michigan Childcare Licensing Rules and Regulations. This is the ideal opportunity for someone going to school for Child Development, Education, Social Work, or Child Psychology OR someone who loves children!
Our Infant and Toddler Assistant Teacher positions require self-motivated and self-directed individuals who can multitask.
After a successful interview, you will have the opportunity to audition for a position onsite at our childcare center with the Director of Operations.

Salary: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Energetic (Playing with Birth-2 years old's takes energy!)
Dependable (Kids need stability)
Loving (Sometimes what a kid needs is a hug)
Creative (Our kids LOVE crafts and new games)
Willing to get dirty (With kids comes mess)
Ready to clean (That mess needs to be cleaned up)
Fun (Because no one wants a boring teacher)
Be flexible (schedules are based on children's schedules). This role ideally works a 6-9 hour shift Monday-Friday. Our staff is on-site between 5:30 am and 7 pm.
